Just arrived, I already know I'm going to be fighting multiple werewolves but at what point do you call them out? It's been so long since I was here that I don't really remember a thing. I guess I'll troll around for awhile

Kaishas Gan will give you a quest to take out the leader of the Wolfweres, Karoug, in the abandoned ship.

Kill him and come back to Kaishas Gan. That's when her clan reveal themselves as Werewolves who now want to get rid of you.

That said, wolfweres are effectively the same thing and you encounter them as soon as you leave the town. Be sure to have decent magical weapons equipped or pelt them with spells (although they do have magic resistance) or you'll just be swinging your weapons for nothing.

Well, Werewolves are people afflicted with lycanthropy who can take on wolf-like shapes while Wolfweres are wolves who can take on human like shapes.

I'm sure you know that already, but it's a massively big enough deal to both races that they're willing to kill each other on sight. Each regards the other as an abomination. :D

But yeah, functionally they're the same kind of enemy.

The other thing, bring along plenty of +1 arrows and bullets and bolts and the like.

Once the Werewolves leave, you have a VERY limited time to make your way to the ship, return to the island, and kill the chief of the Werewolves waiting for you in Ulgoth's Beard.

You can't afford to rest. You need to take out each Werewolf you run into at a safe distance and with no damage to the extent you can manage it.

You might want to set up a special savegame before you start this come to think of it.

Why the rush? If you're talking about the infection, it takes a full 25 days to take hold and the journey back takes 22 days. Seeing as there's little else to do on the island after the final conversation, it's unlikely anyone would need 3 days to leave. There's plenty of time to rest if you need to recover spells and hit points.

I dunno, I've always seem to have had a different experience, at least prior to EE. Take a couple rests and my party members are chunking out into Werewolves.
