    Whatever happened to placing your finger alongside the barrel if you don't intend to fire the gun? I think this is a freudian slip of the physical kind; he wanted to kill the kid.

    Whatever happened to not touching firearms when you have been drinking?

    Since they had been drinking they probably lacked somewhat in the brain area as well as physical control.
