Weird Parties

    Anyone playing with really weird parties?

    I have just started a new evil party lead by an Aasimar Dreadmaster of Bane called Tinkerbell.

    The party also has a svirfneblin monk, drow druid and duergar sorcerer (only 14 cha max at start). The rest of the part isnt too weird although my ghostwise halfling barbarian might become a stormlord of talos but that will leave me without a good tank until my monk reaches higher levels.

    Nowt weird about a Svirfneblin monk; +2 to Dexterity and Wisdom as well as innate mirror image and blur spells make for one hard-to-hit kung fu fighter. Shame they level so damn slowly and their favoured class is illusionist, which can only be dualled from monk and not multiclassed. Ah well...

    But I digress; yes, oddly themed parties are one of the great pleasures of IWD2. Perhaps the "uncharacteristically charismatic gnome and his harem" party will be a project for the future. It'd be interesting to try things like a party where all the characters had several levels of sorcerer, thus creating a group of people of varying professions who have all been osrtacised in some way for their inborn talents and have found solace by grouping together. The possiblities are endless.... :D

    Why not? I made a party of dwarves. The Bard and the Duergar Paladin are by far the best, followed by the Ranger and the Druid...

    A funny party or just plain wierd?

    My current "ive been meaning to play but havent got around to it, so they are just standing on the ship in targos" party inclues as follows:

    Drow Painbearer Of Illmater: Ironic, is it not?
    Tiefling Druid: Why not?
    Halfling monk: I was curious more than anything.
    Wild Elf Fighter: So much for sorcerer. To the front line she went.

    That was it. I wanted to max XP.

    Anyway,

    I've also been thinking lately about an all-cleric party. I'm also still standing in the docks at Targos, but it consists of:
    a duergar Battlemaster of Tempus (male)
    a drow Stormlord of Talos (female)
    a tiefling Demarch of Mask (male)
    and I DID have another one but I forget. She was elven and a cleric :o )

    I wasthinking of maxing out xp and taking a few other levels along the way.
