So i ask my newly installed trusty cooling system about his performance, specs, etc, etc. But i got no answer from him becasue he is so damn quiet. What to do? The only problem is that he is costly.

    my latest trusty cooling system

Looks functional. Also heard that you can buy one specific parts and later on fill it with other parts.

Hmmm...I was tempted to buy the Zalman 'Reserator'...but as it's a passive cooling system, and I'm more interested in performance cooling, so I chose not to. Passive water cooling is good and everything for CPU cooling, but I wonder if it would be able to keep the temps down on a Prescott CPU, NB chip, and a high-end graphics card.

Also, I think the 'Reserator' is aimed towards a server, or a family PC that's not going to be moved much. If you must have a water cooling system that's external, I would probably suggest the Koolance EXOS-2 or maybe the Thermaltake Aquarius III as both of them can be mounted, or strapped to the computer case.

But on the other hand, if you are solely looking for "silent" cooling, the Zalman Reserator 1 is probably your best bet for optimal performance with little to no noise at all.

So basically what I'm saying is: It's a step in the right direction (especially if you want "silent cooling), but it could be better, and a little cheaper price wise too. If I were you, I wouldn't buy any of Zalman's water blocks. Instead, buy your waterblocks from Danger Den as they have some of the best waterblocks out there. :rolling:
