Warden chasing me!

Ok this never happened vefore. I was doing bardic stronghold quest in the Planar Prison as usual, I went right, killing the guards, extra Yuantis, and unfourtunately slaves, I klled the Wyvern, and Master of Thralls, got his orb, and headed back to the forge.

Then I noticed Warden was coming for me! I was suprised. For some reason he has decided to move to my party to attack us, he started casting deadly spells such as Flesh to Stone, Disintegrate, ADHW, but alas, my Chorister managed to disrupt his spells and kill him eventually.

Why has this happened? Have I done something wrong? Is it due to my mods? Have you experienced this too?

Regardless, it was nice enough change, I was actually ambushed and not ready for the battle. But I just wanted to learn its reason!

 

Well, it could be due your mods, but I have had things like this even when I didn't have mods. Like when I was doing the Umar hills and suddenly the bone golem in the temple decided to charge me when I was crossing the molten floor.

 

Strange, what can be the reason?

 

He saw you and decided to attack. I've had that bugger chase me all over the prison when my stealthed character failed a Hide check or my mage stepped too far ahead (thus getting the Warden's attention) to cast a spell.

 

Maby his scripting got changed somehow?

 

i constantly get the bone golem in the Umar hills chasing me when im in the lava room, even when i had no mods installed but i have not heard of the warden chasing a party that has not come into contact with him yet. the only reason that i can think of is that you came too close to him or one of your characters decided to take the route past him as it migt have been shorter than the the way that the rest of your party went

 

If he had seen my party, I guess he would have interacted the dilague and then attack, but it did not happen like that, he found us first, initiated his dilague and then attacked. Weird, isn't it?
