    This might be of little consequence but Viconia is of House Devir which was wiped out in Book 1 of the Dark Elf Trilogy where Zaknafein forced Drizzt to watch as the whole house was destroyed by Fiends.

    I dunno much about the Drizzt series, but perhaps that's why Viconia is on the surface, she was forced to flee or be killed by fiends. Or was the Drizzt series set a long time for the BG series?

    It is possible that she's from a different city than Drizzt. The name DeVir may be a common one in drow cities.

    Well it seems to fit well... Since Drizzt is in both games it means the story happens at about that time. And don't forget, Drow have been known to live for over 1000 years so give or take a century, it doesn't mean much. ;)

    More than likely, I think one of the developers is a R.A. Salvatore Fan.

    But the permise that she is the only surviving member of a fallen house is interesting.

    I think I found some relatives of her imprisoned on the second floor of the tavern in Ust'Nasha. I didn't have her with me though, so I'm not sure.

    Hey Crawl, if you missed the upper floor of the bar, you missed the best part. That's were you can have fun the Drow way. Imoen especialy liked it telling me that now she remembered how much fun it was to travel with me after we had fun blowing up slaves. :D
