Does anyone else listen to these guys? Definitely my favorite album of all time is "Add it Up".

Musically complex, deep, an emotional roller-coaster. A very large variety of instuments as well.

Just listen to some of these lyrics:

"When I'm a-walking, I strut my stuff, and I'm so strung out...I'm high as a kite and I just might stop to check you out."

"I can tell by the way you switch your walk, I can see by the way you made me talk, I can know by the way that you treat your man, it's a cryyyyyyying shame"

"Burning inside is making this boy turn out cold"

"You wanna call me a little faggot white boy, Just look, look, look for some kind of joy, come around so queer and quiet, but inside rebel and riot"

"Will I be true to my birth, and will I give what I'm worth, oh yes sir, I come when you call, and yes sir, Jesus my one and all"

"36, 24, 36...see a girl walking down the street, just the kind of girl I would like to meet, it aint her hair, her clothes, her feet...it's something much more discreet...and I aint alive, baby, I aint proud, I just want what I'm not allowed...move on up, better help myself, for a world of good for my mental health"

"And I will not kill the one thing that I love, in this world of wreckage I look above...say help me Lord, help me understand, what it means to be a boy, what it means to be a man"

"I hate the TV, you know that it's killing me"

"Look at the Indians, look at the blacks, look at the figures, look at the facts, looks at the facts, the facts not the lies, then you'll find out a big surprise...America is the home of the hypocrite, American dreams are full, full, full of it."

"Well I'm reading this poem, and it's so profound, and I like it's rythym and I like its sound, by a very famous poet, no critic can critisize, and I pause a moment and I start to realize, he's telling....lies, lies, lies..."

"Did you do too many drugs?...I did too many drugs...did you do too many drugs too?...baby...you were born too late and I was born too soon, but every time I look at that ugly moon...it reminds me of you"

"I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record, oh yeah?...well don't be so distressed, did I happen to mention that I get real depressed?"

"I take one cause you left me, I take two for my family, I take three for my heartaches, four for my headaches, five for my lonely, six for my sorrow, seven for tomorrow, eight, eight, i forget for eight was for, and nine cause I lost count, ten, ten and everything, everything, everything..."

"Why can't I get just one f*ck, why can't I get just one f*ck, guess it's got something to do with luck...I've waited my whole life for just one f*ck"

"Oh mom, momma, take a look now what your boy has done, he's walking around like he's number one, they brought him downtown and they bought him a gun."

These guys hit hard. Their sound is very complex. They explore topics ranging from sexual identification to a relationship with God.

My favorite album of all time. I can't recommend it enough...go check it out.
