I have slept 2 times with Viconia already. The last time before that she told me that she was hmm... having sex with everybody to get her way and survive. She told me to hate her and spit on her. I told her that I don't care and two nights after that in Underdark she sighed that I defeated her and I have a sex with her for a second time... The next day she told me that I am not so experienced, but I have a big enthousiasme... (wish it was true in the real life)

The question is: does the romance continue? And is it affected by Viconia's death by Bodhi and her further restoration?

 

You shouldn't have slept with her the second time, you should only hugged her while you were asleep.

 

So it is over isn't it? And I have no back savegames... Oh, well it was good fairy tale...

 

You could download the romance guide by extremist and shadowkeeper and edit the variables there.

 

And if it all works as well as with Jaheira, you'll need a whole lot of superhuman luck to go with the variables if you're to make any difference.

Happened to me a million times. Playing 20-30 hours up till a certain point and then learning I screwed something up 20 hours back without any implications of it in the game. Real nice, that.

 

Well, it's actually lika this: sleep with her, sleep with her, and then you get the option to just hugg her.
So if you didn't get this line(well, something like this): Come let us get this overwith (she means the sex of course) it's ok, so next time you should get the option of just sleeping entwined with her (no sex, remember that!!).

 

Let's face it guys..... anytime you get a chance to bed a hottie like Viconia - TAKE IT! Don't look back. Any other action wouldn't be realistic! Hugging doesn't get it - besides, she's evil. You can abuse her with impunity...

 

Why should any other action than taking advantage of a girl whenever the opportunity arises be unrealistic?

Semi-off-topic: First time with Jaheira I got what Extremist calls 'bomb' in his guide. That is all ok, romance not screwed, but without the most interesting part appearing. Or perhaps I moved on to clock Irenicus one too early.

 

Hmm. All these people saying they don't like playing evil yet so many questions about Viconias' romance - what do you all do? Play good/neutral and don't raise your rep?

And you said the dialogue came in the underdark, EMT? Was it when you rested in the Inn or out in the caverns and stuff?

Because really the romance should be paused during chapters 4,5 and 7

And why do people always have difficulty with the romances?

 

Because roleplaying is made after real life

 

so how come I can go through them without any probs, without help (Got Exs' guide after I'd been through all the romances and wondered what other replies did.) when I've not even had a boyfriend

@people here - the romances do pause in theunderdark don't they? Because that's what I always thought and read in Exs guide

 

I don't understand, whats the problem here, I haven't got this far in the romance yet.
Is there something I should know?

 

8people, the romances are not paused during Chapter 4, 5, 7. Brynnlaw and the drow city are not considered dungeons, so the romances will continue there. They will also do a lovetalk in Adalon's cave (depending on your timing.)

The other areas are considered dungeons, so they are paused there.

 

Another reason people have so much trouble with romances is that they are riddled with bugs -- at least the Jaheira one is. If you haven't installed the proper patches, sometimes you get hosed.

 

The first time I slept with her was in Bodhi's headquarters. After that I slept with her for a second time in front of Suldanessalar. The third time wasn't sleeping; I proposed to her why don't we remain hugged instead of sleeping. In ToB, she asked me if I want her to become better person and I answered: "Yes". Immediately after that I opened her Record and saw that her alignement changed from Neutral Evil to True Neutral... Because this was my first time playing after beating Amelyssan I chose to become a god and I still do not know if the romance ended peacefully, I mean if I've chosen to become a mortal will I marry her and etc...

 

With any romance if you go the God route, the romance terminates.

In the case of Viconia if you remain a mortal, you will have a child together and she will, eventually, be killed by a Handmaiden of Lloth. Viconia's end story is actually pretty tragic regardless of which route you go.

Well, I am happy that I could change Viconia's alignment... And I know that if you choose the god route your romance is terminated...
