    I'm going outta my mind, with my Elven beserker, if nothing is gonna happen, I'm gonna cut Edwin's tongue out and impale him with it!!!!

    I think the key here is that your main character is an elf. From what I understand Vic doesn't like elves enough to get involved in a romance with them. And Edwin is great, if anybody take out Vic's tongue. :D
