Viconia -- is the romance worth it?

I read in a walkthrough that if you get into a romance with Viconia she will leave you in the end... as she is the best Cleric in the game, i dont want to lose her... can anyone tell me if this is true? the last time i played through i didnt take her into my party...

 

She only leaves you if you say the wrong things, be careful and try and play along with her changes, you should do fine.

Remember that only a Human and Half-Elf can romance her, IIRC.

 

And she's definitely worth it, especially if you have the flirtpack and are a bit dirty-minded.

actually, Mystra's Chosen, you can use Shadowkeeper or use a CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("ViconiaRomanceActive","GLOBALS",2)

yeah, but that's lame. I mean, obviously the creators didn't want gnomes gettin' it on with a dark elf.

 

can't imagine a drow goin' big with a halfling or gnome half as tall as her or a surface elf that her race has sworn to destroy

 

and ShadowKeeper causes more bugs than it fixes

You can use the cheat console to get the romance available, though you don't set the ViconaRomanceActive to 2.

I will give the code if you need it, but it is still better to just make a PC that can romance her anyway.

 

what would the code be,that is what i was told

 

you should set it to 1, otherwise some dialogues wouldn't work because they look for 1 not 2.

 

if i already put 2, and dialogues came up (IIRC only 2 or 3), would changing to 1 mess it up?

i just got past the Bodhi and the Slayer change
does it matter what she says when you warn her to stay away because you can't protect her?will i have enough time to finish the romance before the Bodhi finale if i procrastinate?

 

depends - if you've only had one or two dialogues altogether then you can just set it to one with no problems.

1 = romance just starting
2 = NC is in love with you
3 = it's over

every few dialogues it checks the number or changes it depending on what was said or what is about to be said.

 

How do you make sure you keep her in a good party? Also, isn't there a mod (like Ease of Use, I think) that ignores alignments and keep groups together despite your reputation?
