Risk, a great game! One of the best I've ever played, if truth be told. I can't count the number of hours I've spent playing this, number of days infact. Just the idea of world domination...

Isn't the game over? Martin has completed his mission already. And another vote for great game here.

Yeah I love that game. Have any of you guys played the LotR version? It's pretty cool.

I played the lotr version a couple of times.

For some reason, it rapidly involved much roleplay.

[IMG] @Meatdog: I had to "hold the line" for one more round.

[IMG] Yes, it is. To fulfill a given mission you have to hold your ground for one more round.

Do you have to show your mission card before or after the round?

[IMG] Well, after the round, but I was so sure to win that I didn't bother keeping it a secret. Karin got quite an army that round (exchanged cards for units) and the game lasted another three rounds. Björn, however, didn't have much influence on the game after having been contained in Australia. Not defeating him was a smart move though, because it turned out that Karin had to defeat the black army

Looks like Karin has realized she´s doomed.
    Why?
Well, why else would she need three shotglasses for the booze?
Looks like Bjoern fell asleep for a while and then got stunned when he woke up and realized he was toast.
    Why?
His cup is empty, and this would be the only reason for it to be empty.
Looks like you´ve celebrated the victory already since both your cup and shotglass in empty. Nice going lad, fill up and continue the celebration :D

Hey, that reminds me, me and Morningstar pulled out the old Risk box a few days ago and Morningstar, his wee bro, and I decided to go for the world conquer game.

Morningstar and his wee bro were new to the game, but caught on pretty quick, the game ended in a diplomatically negotiated draw between me and Morningstar after we wiped out his wee bro, only reason was that his wee bro was suprisignly good at the game, and he was dominating, so we wiped him out :p the game ended with me owning South America(which i took in round 1), North America(was always swapping hands as me and Morningstar's wee bro kept taking it over and leaving 1 battalion on each territory) and Australia, and Morningstar owned Asia, Africa(took him a while cos i initally piled a few guys into to annoy him) and Europe.
