Ust Natha Solaufein glitch

    so i enter ust natha as a drow and started the quest given by solaufein. when i go to meet him outside the mind flayer lair he is not there. i went back in the city and found him at the entrance of the city. i tried talking to him and he says not to bother him. i thought i was supposed to have 12 hours to meet him and i went right away

    has anyone heard of this happening before? i tried searching google about it and other forums but its really annoying because all i hear about it the romance mod. i just want to play the game but i dont have a save far enough back to load.

    any suggestions?

    i read through the link related to my quest and areas and i dont see the answer your referring to.

    all i have done is agreed to me him at pint 21 of the underdark. i left right away and defeated the group at 24. after that i went to 21 and he wasjt there. i tried saving/reloading, and sleeping and nothing worked. he just simply wasn't there.

    i went back the city and saw him standing to the left of the entrance(not on the platform). i tried talking to him and he tells me to go away.

    i dont understand what i did wrong, thats why i think its a glitch.

    any help?

    ok i was able to fix this. i was right, the game had glitched somehow. i think when he was supposed to teleport out to the location i saved and he glitch in his spot and didn't move.

    i found out about shadowkeeper and was able to delete his variables to start the quest over again. this time he showed up at the lair entrance.
