Unseing Eye quest - this is weird!

    [​IMG] OK, I'm on my second time around in the game. First game I just forced attacked when I got there and that brought the beholder, etc. That's all I did though, I didn't do the rod or anything. Now, on my second time around I did the same thing (killed the beholder right away) except that I want to do the thing with the rod piece, that God's avatar can do whatever he wants to do. Is there anyway to finish this quest now?

    Nope, don't think you can finish this quest. In order for some of the quest to continue one of the 'Unseeing Eye' cult followers has to give you the Rod quest. He cant do that if he's dead.

    While on the Rod quest (via a key he gives if I recall) you meet up with the former cult member who directs you to his 'inside' contact in the cult. That inside contact allows you into the PIT. All of these a couple more are needed from the start, the start from the 1st Cult member quest. Reload and work this one again if you wish to finish the quest correctly.
