Unseeing eye quest

    i have gotten into the unseeing eye cult area past the gas chamber room and have seen the guy die from plucking out his eyes. what do i do next i cant figure it out.

    Talk to the head honcho, he'll want you to get something for him and give you a key to unlock more of the area.

    The guards at the entrance to the cult should have stopped you, given you a key, and told you to get something from elsewhere in the sewers.

    After coming out of the gas-room there are 2 options.

    1. You killed Gaal.
    In that case you just walk to the north and kill the Unseeing Eye. (and miss lots of XP and Gauntlets of Dexterity.

    2. You talked to Gaal and told him you wanna join the cult without having your eyes removed. In that case you have to go back to were you entered the room, follow the path and now there's a door at your right side, enter it, talk with the guy there and then you have the quest to collect the Rod. GL.

    You can do this quest the 'greedy' way.

    After getting the part of the rod from the Avatar go back and speak with the contact -Tad- that allows you to the lower undead/beholder level. After giving him the password go back and speak to Gaal. He'll thank you for the Rod and you get to attack him (initiate an attack afterwards if he doesn't turn red) You then have the rod part again and then quickly proceed to the lower undead/beholder level. (although guards and the like will turn red after you fight Gaal -leave them alone- go to the lower level)

    Cleanup all the bad guys including the Unseeying Eye (use rod), loot corpse and return to the Avatar. Then go back to the hideout where the offensive pagans are and clean house! Behold! The Unseeying Eye is alive again and you can waste him a 2nd time and loot his corpse again (total of 2 Amulets of Magic Resistance).

    Keep in mind you get a bit more XP throughout this quest if you do it this way.

    i love meeting beholders now, i just send keldorn up 2 them with the sheild of balduran (?)....is that cheating?
