Its never going to be as good as the original UT but I am being optimistic about upcoming titles, it still has room for improvment...

It's quite good. There is a slight graphical improvement from Unreal Tournament 2003, and there are plenty of new maps and stuff. I skipped out on 2003 because there wasn't much offered, but this one was a must-get because Assault was finally back.

I played everyone of the Unreal Tournament games to death and beyond. It is a good game if you are good at it. Newbs to the game never having played quake/ut will get raped and never be any good at it so I think for them it will be quite frustrating. You will probably like ONS though.

Have been interested of it for quite some time, but I have never come around actually playing it due of two reasons:

    1) It requires a lot from your PC to have decend frame-rate in every situation.

    2) There is no team-play -it's just a regular shoot'em'up that gets boring very quick. I prefer games with a bit of strategy and commanding in them.

The Onslaught game is brilliant. If you're looking for teamplay - that's where it is. Nothing like a full 16 v 16 onslaught game with vehicles galore.

I've played the original UT to death and beyond, and still love it. I hated UT2003 for some reason. I don't know, I always felt it was too slow-paced, for lack of a better description. UT2004 was a much better game IMO. Much of the UT feel that was missing in 2003 was back in 2004. The only problem is that I don't have a machine good enough to run it at home :( (on a Pentium 2... right, dream on)

The system requirements are not soo high, 'cause it runs perfectly on a 1.0 Gh machine.

I don't know how perfectly it runs on 1 Ghz, but I can tell you it doesn't run at all on a Pentium 2 :)

I've played it at other places, on machines powerful enough to support it with good graphics detail, and it was very enjoyable.
