[IMG] I downloaded the first three patches before I knew that the "unofficial" patches didn't want you to download the third. I uninstalled and or deleted the game and I can't get rid of that patch. In fact I still have the same characters I generated before uninstall\deleting. How do I start over? Or unpatch, whichever is easier.

    @ dreamingxashley,

Thank you so much for reminding me why I spend more time reading about ToEE at the Co8 forum site, and NOT here. If you dislike the best D&D combat engine available, maybe you should play with a fork and a plug socket instead?

    @ charlesanakin,

If you have any questions regarding ToEE and don't want stupid people to give you useless answers to those questions, get yourself over to www.co8.org

Actually, allyx, DA's sarcastic comment has some merit. Most games leave files behind when uninstalling (especially saved games and characters) -- those files should also be deleted.

@ca: You could have a couple of issues here. Your game may have come fully patched (if you bought it online it is usually patched). In this case you could try installing the CO8 fix -- it may or may not work for you. Otherwise, uninstall and then try deleting all the files toee installed, including any in the temp directory. Then reinstall using the direction from CO8 which you can get to via allyx's link or from the toee pages here on SP.
