Unfinished Business Trouble

    Can someone help me out. There's been a slight complication when i'm playing UB. Minsc has lost the hamster and i'm talking to Billy who took it, but the correct dialogues doens't occur. All the little brat says is that he's got a gold coin. I've played UB before but this didn't happen before.

    What's wrong? I can't solve the quest at all since I can't talk to the boy. All that happens is that he says that he didn't do anything when Minsc is too close to him and he says he's got a gold coin whenever minsc is out of reach. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Which version of UB are you using? I think this may have been fixed in the latest version.

    I had the same problem but I think UB ver. 5 (or is it 4?) should fix the problem.

    I'm using the latest version, UB V5. odd that it doesn't work. I've uninstalled it, for now, though...

    Did Minsc recognize Billy when you approached him? If so, then the reply you received:

    is correct. He should flee into the inn and you are supposed to follow him...

    If this is not what happened, then please let me know...
