UB: Minsc Boo quest rewards

    Hi,

    Well I've played through this quest, and despite the unkillable trolls taht were really annoying -just ran ran ran to the exit of the area - I made it back to the government district and answered the riddles correctly.
    I hear Minsc should be able to summon a "super boo" but I don't see this upon completion of the quest?
    All I got was a green figurine to summon a dog and the Minsc STR bonus

    For the next run, you could chose to download the fix at ppg. Try to glance at the thac0. It's nice. I like this quest, feels good for Minsc.

    I got the same reward. I believe however that there are multiple ways in which the situation may be resolved, and these may lead to different reward outcomes. I don't think I had the composure to talk to that witch again without killing her, so I didn't check the other options.

    hmm.. other options? I tried both solving the riddles correctly and killing the witch, but no "super boo"

    AFAIK there is only one solution and one bonus, but try ask/look at PPGs UB forum.

    *kind of a spoiler regarding options*
    The readme hints at a solution that nets you (among other things) a bunch of gems, so I'd assume this would be a different option to the one I did (that got me the Jade Hound). It also mentions a really evil option, that seems to correspond to a dialogue option I was given relating to getting a Boo replacement (just some random hamster from the pet shop). Also you can screw it all up and loose Minsc for ever.
    NB this is mainly speculatory, and, as mentioned above, I've only fully played out the one option.
