Two questions-maybe more- Help!

    I just started playing ToEE and patched with Atari 1+2 and Co8 4 (the newest I think). Some things I can't figure out.. Why won't Terjon ask for the note I found along with his medallion in Emerilly Fields? I am just carrying that thing around. Same with the Giant's head and the Blacksmith in Homlett- even befoe I got it he was offering me a masterwork weapon or two, but not, say longswords. So I am carrying that around as well. I can't figure out how to scribe scroll, it doesn't seem to be in my radial menu anywhere! I read a post about it being there so I will try again to find it but I looked REAL hard the first 4 times.... I started out with these patches in place and chose NOT to have the characters naked or to have the custome armor or desperate housewives active.. but I thought that Co8 patch was supposed to let me have more than 5 characters at the start... Can anyone answer these questions for me? Thanks

    With the CO 8 patch, you still have to do some hex editing of files to get more than 5 PCs, there's some links as to how to do that here on SP, and also on CO8, but it seemed a little too much trouble for me.

    To scribe scrolls, you have to have the scribe scroll feat. Check the character menu to make sure that you do. Then it should be in the radial menu, but it might be a submenu, for example: special powers: scribe scroll, or something like that.

    Don't know about the note or the giant's head.

    Thanks for the heads up on the scribing of scroll-- next level's feat for my wiz and sorcerer! I don't know how to hex edit at all, but i don't need more than 5 main characters anyway, I was just wondering because it may indicate that the level cap has to be "hex fixed" too--do you know if that is true? The giants head might not be acting right, because I haven't finished the moathouse yet? anyone know about that? Thanks for all the help guys. Still wondering about the note i found in the fields with Terjons thing and the evil statuette
