Is there any way to have my character always attack using dirty fighting mode whenever possible? I sometimes to hit the button every time I enter combat in time for the first strike, and for some reason it sometimes seems to deactivate on its own even during combat.

Another one is that I've purchased the Greater Belts of specific physical damage reduction. Is there any way to get the game to display if I'm taking slashing, piercing, or crushing damage instead of just "physical" damage the way Icewind Dale II did? I tried "dm_enablecombatdebugging" but can't see the difference in what's being reported. It seems odd that the character wouldn't know if he'd been poked, slashed, or smashed the same way he could tell if he'd been burned, frozen, or electrocuted. Given the presence of those specific belts, I'd want to know what kind of physical damage I'm taking so I can put all 3 in my quickslot so I can swap as needed. Although fumbling with a belt during combat seems odd in that that it doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity. I've never played a P&P 3rd edition game (only 2nd), but I can't imagine it NOT doing so.

There's no way to automate either to my knowledge. All manual combat modes in NWN need micro-managing and for the belts, well, you just have to check what kind of weapons are being used by the enemies and switch belts accordingly (if you actually want to bother).
