I am having soooooo much trouble with Sendai. Even as the slayer I get mullered. The problem is I am normally in a pretty bad condition after killing the statues that she kills me easily. Please someone help me!

[IMG] Sir Daie we would need some more info than that!
    - Who's in your party?
    - What level are you?
Stuff like that. Then it's easier to help you.

  4. Abit off topic I know, Read the Rules.

Topics are to be somewhat descriptive of what the problem is, and limited to only one form of punctuation, unless it is ellipsis(...).

    More to the topic
Tell us what your party consists of, and we maybe able to help.

    [edit]
    You're a level 14 sorcerer!?
How did you manage to get that far in ToB?
That is your problem, you need to level up, alot...

I just did Sendai, but my party was level 30+. So it was easy. In your case, you are going to need ranged weapons and summoned creatures. Do you have wish or a wish scroll? That would be helpful too.

You need to level up... a lot. I was level 19 before I even faced Illasera! I take it you went from BG2:SoA yes?
Other than that, get a wish as Jack Funk said, or some Contingency Scrolls if you don't have that spell, they help a lot.
Summon lots of monsters in it.

Yea... Aerie Jan and yourself are pretty much useless in this fight as Drow are heavily magic resistant.

I'd have Anomen cast Globe of Blades and Righteous Magic and have him dispatch the Drow at the door; use the same spells on Viconia and with Cernd pound away at the statues, using your mages for little more than dispelling magical protections when necessary.

Have Viconia switch off with Anomen when one needs to back off and cast Heal.

In that fight I always made sure the drow at the door got killed before the statue, to make sure I didn't get overwhelmed; it's probably a good idea to have Anomen on that task.
Your mages will be less useful because of Sendai's high magic resistance; choose your spells accordingly (this isn't unfair because you know you're in a drow enclave, so you'd pick suitable spells) - lots of lower resistances, lots of summons (devas, planetars, mordenkainen's swords etc), and then spells which help the party rather than injure opponents. Keep a few damaging spells for after sending a spell trigger with lots of lower resistance into Sendai. Remember to pace your abilities.

My advice would be to keep summoned creatures as the bouncer for the drow that come in (I usually have a planetar, but I'm not sure you have the abity to do that yet), have Anomen & Viconia (can get some whacks in while everyone is up and going, but don't let them get hurt to bad or they will be wasting spells on themselves) on healing duty, have all others (except for your sorcerer) wail on her. Your Sorcerer should be spending most of its time removing spell protections (Warding Whip works wonders) and bombarding everything other than your party that moves with spells.

I don't know how you've managed to get this far in the game at such a low level. I suggest going to Watchers Keep to get some levels for your party.

I'm alittle late I see. Sorry about that, and good luck.
