Trouble with Durlag's quest

    [​IMG] I have killed the deamonknight in durlags tower and by the way thank you all for helping me with the questions i posted anyway these agents take the knife away from me and when I track them down into this house theres this big red dragon or deamon or somthing and it keeps killing me all the time and when i kill it, it comes back to life so please I need more help on this question.

    Kill all the acolytes standing around the demon first. If they are alive when you kill the demon, it will respawn from one of them.

    [​IMG] Summon as many monsters as you can and use Osiluke's Resilent Sphere or something similair to keep the demon busy while you killing it and the acolytes.

    Thanx alot I killed the deamon but i got no reward from that guy that that wanted you to give him his dagger is that right?? i had an high charisma.

    Well, you never did get his dagger back to him... The cult stole it from you, and then they broke it when they summoned the demon. No dagger, no reward -- no other outcome I know of.

    The demon has no resistance against cloudkill, and this point of the game you can get at least 2 scrolls of it. Cast them to the middle of the room, and watch the result. The demon will die almost every turn, until runs out of cultists...
    By the way you can kill the cultists too, to haste the process... :)
    I have done it with my solo F/M/T. They can't see the hiding character not the invisible one. Stock with potions of invisibility and it won't be a problem.

    At first this was the hardest battle in the game for me because i kept on summoning monsters (Not knowing that vampric touch actually gave him life) so he kept on gaining life off of them and i could not kill him. When i finally realized my mistake i just put him in Osiluke's Resilent Sphere, killed all of the acolytes, and by the time they were dead he was out of the sphere so i just took him out.:p

    To get a reward, you have to select the right conversation replies with Hurgan when you first meet him in the Ulgoth's Beard Tavern. During the conversation, you have to bring up the issue of compensation for your troubles for bringing the dagger to him. He'll promise you a magical hammer.

    After you've killed the Demon, you then have available as a dialogue option insisting on a reward. You get a War Hammer +1, +4 vs. Giant Humanoids.
