Tree of life, how to make the branches grow?

    In the palace, zone into the tree of life, how do you make the branhes extend so you can walk accross them, i killed a parasite on the side of a branch but it didn't do anything,

    By the way, my main character is a monk with -8 AC, i easily got him to lvl 21 without doing that stupid solo tactic people were talking about, i also have mazzy in the group, she is lvl 19 with -14 AC without that drow armor, i have had 20 reputation since from chapter 2 and had edwin since then too, someone said that he leaves if your too good, well he hasn't left me yet. the dragons a easy fight, the hardest fight i have had was the Demi-Lich.

    You should probably read the Elf Queens dialouge more closely, she speaks about the details of 'growing' branches.

    Nevertheless, when the branches 'grow' they -look different....
    Also you'll get floating text that informs you of the steps that proceeded to make the branch grow and how you can journey accross at this 'newly grown' path.
    Additionally- only SPECIFIC areas can grow branches. Journey around and you'll come accross these areas after you follow the first step - listening to(/following the) dialouge of the Elf Queen.

    i managed to beat irenicus the first time without loading back, he was quiet easy
