Transfering BG2 from one computer to another...

    Ok, so I have ToB installed on my laptop with more than a dozen mods installed. I'm almost done with BG2, my laptops is in need of a reformat, and I'd like to finish the game on my new computer.

    Will everything work ok if I install ToB on my new computer and then copy over the entire BG2 directory from my laptop and overwrite everything? :hmm: :rolling:

    It didn't work for me. I didn't resume my last game for that very reason. It should have worked but my save crashes the game when I change areas. So beware.

    Those things are rather tricky. You may try to do the 'exact 'mod installation order again on the new installation of BG2, look at your Weidu-log and install the mods at the exact order there, but then still it is not a sure thing that the save games will be playable.
