Torak froze me! Blasted orc magic!

    [​IMG] I made my way to chapter 1, in which you have retake the bridge. After dispatching several of the orcs, I reached the top of the level and clicked to go to the next area. Torak gave a little speech and ran off but one thing happened.

    The orcs and my party were standing, idling about if you will but not doing a thing. I clicked buttons, clicked to different areas but the game was still paused as if a dialogue was still going on.

    Any ideas?

    Yea I would do this on your place to :) But not uninstall - DELETE the whole directory and setup again....

    It may just be a bug with the gloabal variables. Speak to someone with the know how on the coding of the game and then see what to do.

    What patch do you have installed? If it's beta patch, please install the final 2.01 one.

    Ok, three suggestions.

    1. Delete files in IWD2 subfolders:
    - cache
    - temp
    - tempsave
    Restart IWD2, load the game and see if that helped.

    2. Previous point didn't help? Run IWD2 uninstaller and choose repair option inside.

    3. Both previous points failed? Check if you're invisible while the dialog occurs, if you are, dispel it. If you're not, run IWD2 config and lower color depth inside.

    One thing though, if nothing of those helps, do zip your saved game and mail it to me.

    And don't add another post before you've tried what I've said above! ;)
