    I was wondering if the following topic would be okay to add.

    I want to start a topic where people can post their favorite speeches and quotes - however such posts can be quite long.

    I would start off with Patton's famous speech before the troops that eventually freed Europe from Hitler. The speech is quite vulgar - will replace all the bad words with f*, sh*, etc....

    Sure, why not? Although links (if available), with quoted highlights, might be a better idea to avoid posts being too long.

    My guess this would go in Whatnots (which means it probably belongs somewhere else :xx: )
