HomeLAN Fed has interviewed Tom Ohle, BioWare's PR specialist, on the games industry back in 2004 and further in 2005. Here's a snip:

HomeLAN - Overall, what do you feel was the most significant thing that happened in 2004 in the video and PC game industry?

Tom Ohle - I think the continued infiltration of the mainstream still stands as the most important occurrence in gaming. With the massive success of games like Halo 2 and GTA: San Andreas, gaming has continued to gain acceptance as a legitimate form of entertainment.

HomeLAN - Other than games you worked on that were released this year, what video or PC game released in 2004 was your favorite and why?

Tom Ohle - I probably spent the most time with Half-Life 2 and Red Dead Revolver. Both provide great cinematic gameplay experiences, but they present them in different ways. Half-Life 2 raised the bar for PC games in general, I think. And Red Dead Revolver was just a lot of fun. Those Rockstar folks have this game development thing down.
