[IMG] Just recently, I reinstalled Baldur's Gate 2 + ToB again to replay it. (Last time I played was about 3 years ago, so I'm looking forward to another run-through ^^) Naturally, I applied some mods. I've got Imoen Romance mod, Banter pack, Flirt pack, Dungeon-be-gone, the BOM item pack, and the Quest Pack. My question stems from the latest patch. Without thinking, I applied all these mods before patching my game to the latest version. I was wondering if I apply the patch now, will it overwrite any of the files necessary for any of my mods? Last thing I want is to have some corrupted mod files in my game. :p

Also, I was wondering if even though I've started my game already, can I apply Baldurdash's fixes without anything screwing up?

Thanks so much in advance, and sorry to turn my first post into a question. :D

You should uninstall your game, get the patch, then Baldurdash fix, only THEN you can safely install mods. Otherwise, there will probably be conflicts, bugs, and other things.

BTW, welcome to Boards of Magic, feel free to ask anything!

One thing - if I export my saved game, then uninstall, reinstall with fix and patch, then reinstall my mods, will my savegame still function?

Or will I have to start my game over?

You'll have to start over. If it were just the patch, I'd say give it a try, but with the patch necessarily before the mods, it will screw up the order and make your savegame unplayable. Wait for your next game before you uninstall...unless you're getting bored with your current game and want to start over anyway. ;)

You can continue playing as long as you do not encounter a bug, if you are lucky. But if you want to be sure, just reinstall everything in correct order. Then start a new game.
