Well I will soon receive SoU and I want to play this new character from SoU to HotU (which I already own). In fact I've already ''played'' this one a little bit in HotU but I want to create him since the begening. I really loathe powergamming, but I know in a game like NWN you still need some power but I seek legit, non-exploit, and non-cheezie way to accomplish this. To have a greater feeling of accomplishment.

So here's go Ofelix I want him to be a Fighter / Bard then I'll give him RDD classes after.

Out of curiosity can I have RDD class level before HotU?

I wanted him to have more Fighter level than Bard, so he can have more mellee prowes.

so here's my first level build.

    Name; Ofelix
Race; Human (for no XP penality since Fighter will have more levels)
    CLASS; Fighter
    ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Neutral
    STR; 15
    DEX; 14
    CON; 13
    INT; 12
    WIS; 10
    CHA; 15

I'm not really sure if I *can* have these stats with the 30+ point buy system but I'll see for myself, and then adjust.

FEAT; Weapon Focus (Halberd), Power attack, Cleave
    SKILLS; LORE, PERSUASION, HEAL.

LEVEL PROGRESSION; I thought of two level FIGHTER for one level of BARD untill I can have RDD.

BONUS STAT; I thought of first boosting CHA and then CON afterward.

So, How's this char will do in SoU and HotU?

This character will do fine and is very similar to the one that I just finished SoU with.

Yes, you can get RDD levels before HotU, once you reach the required Lore levels.

The real challenge with this character is avoiding the cheesy powergaming inherent in the Ultimate Melee character. This is the one where you take one level of Bard at about 6th level, having stacked up loads of skill point to pour into Tumble and Use Magic Device.

I finished SoU with Bard 4 / Fighter 4 / RDD 5. I found the Bard song at the level to be quite useful and Bard also provided a few useful buff spells (like Protection from Evil) but otherwise spellcasting is a pain because of armoured spell failure. The RDD class is pretty cool, but now I need to decide how to level up through HotU into which I have just imported this character.
