When the quest givers(like Bodhi) tell you that you have a few days to perform the quest, do they actually mean it? Is it truly timed?

Also, some joinable NPCs will ask you to make quests with them. If you dont go right away, they will start complaining after a while. Will they eventually leave or just be silent and irritated?

If they say you have so many days, believe them. If they complain about you not doing their quest, believe them too: they will leave.

I know the Nalia and Korgan will complain if you haven't started their quests within 3 days of them joining the party. Both will complain again in another day or 2 if you haven't started it yet and will leave. Keldorn gets grumpy about not seeing his family, but I don't know if he will leave.

Bodhi's quests I don't know. I usually do them right away.

If you didn't know, the drow quests in Ust Natha are timed and your cover will be blown if you don't do them in a timely fashion (3 days, iirc).

No, I don't know what the deal is with 3 days being the quest rule of thumb.

I don't think the plot-related chapter 3 quests are timed.

The dying man quest is timed too. If you take to long, he'll die, naturally. Your reward will be less than what it would have been.
