    I think I have gone through all of the threads. Whenever I stand as watchout for Narlen Darkwalk and friend the Flaming Fist never turns up. I have even waited until dawn:confused: Please advise me. Thank you in advance.

    BTW have only recently joined and am most impressed :)

    Thank you very much. However I read that thread. Imoen has no problem meeting Narlen. The rest of the party is out of the way by the Blushing Mermaid's back door. The problem is that after Narlen instructs Imoen to stand watch and goes to steal the gold (or whatever) the Flaming Fist never shows up so that Imoen can shout out the warning.

    When I first played it, years ago, I met Narlen at dusk outside the Splurgeon and gave the warning, then met him at the Thieves Guild. Afterward I met him at midnight at another place and commited the robbery as instructed. No problem.

    I have even tried looking up a cheat code for a Flaming Fist mercernary (Chimp5). NO GO.

    I'm afraid I can't really be of much assistance here short of asking some general questions... do you have the official patches installed? TotSC? Any mods?

    You probably don't have the right code for the FF soldier in that particular quest, so I'm hoping that someone who knows how to look the right one up will post here.

    I found a solution of sorts. I went back to an earlier stage of the city and did the thievery test first. It all worked fine.

    Howver I cannot complete the game as disc 5 appears to be corrupted in some way. In the Iron Throne entrance it took 20 plays of the movie for my team to get from front door to staircase - to quote Imoen "booooring"! The time has come to move on to the next episode

    BTW ToSC was a doddle for my fighte/mage half elven character - Yes I do have the patches thank you
