    Just how long do you keep paying Renal? I'm worried about losing the guild if I go out of the town where it takes days at a time since he says come back per 5 days, etc.

    Well when i first started playing that stronghold I had believed it to be every 5 days, obviously on par with the amount of time it takes your thieves to complete their rounds, however, it seemed it took a little longer than that after a while. I think you have to pay him every 7 days or something. Check Dan Simpson's guide because that man knows EVERYTHING so it should helP! :D

    Btw, if you're asking how long you have to pay him, it's as long as you still own the guild. As long as you still own it, you still pay. But if you're doing it right, you should be making more than enough to cover the cost. Also, i highly doubt you'd EVER not be able to pay the measly amount he asks you ...

    It is very annoying, I am in the adventure, in Firkraag's Dungeon, and the game reminds me to visit Thif Stronghold to what? Pay 300-500 gp to a thief. Sucks.

    Most of the time I lose the guild occasionaly, then pay something grander to Reanal and re-take it so that my game gets harder.

    I personally love fighter stronghold, the choices are very good, RP wise, (you can be the kind, forgiving and helpful lord, the strict law enforcerer, or a total evil tyrant) AND oh there is improved Lord Roenal fight. Now that is something which I postpone till the end of the game as it is actualy pretty hard (and needless to say, cool beyond words) battle!
