[IMG] Well, I find myself unable to get to
Easthaven due to the common "paused for movie" bug.
    I've tried:
    (a) taking off all magical enhancement items and killing him with no spells whatsoever
    (b) cleaning out the cache, trying out (a) again

Keep in mind I'm not using the patched copy.
I re-installed it because I heard it won't work with the patch, but it doesn't seem to work without it either.

    Any ideas?

Well, I just tried it with the patch too, same result. I also tried killing him without pausing at any point, but that didn't work. So then I tried removing all memory-resident programs and killing him.
    That didn't work either.

All I know is, I've killed him about 40 times. Yee haw.

    [IMG] Hey;

As per an earlier email from some one else that helped me out with this....

under you icewind dale directory is your save game folder -> mpsave

Move this to a new directory outside of the game.

Unistall the game. Install the game and DO NOT put the patches back in. Restore your save game directory. And play. I think it took me three tries of repeating these steps before it worked, but yes it eventually did.

    Cheers!

Holy smokes, it worked the first time.

Thanks a million, I'm in your debt!

    *bow*

    Cheers
