Which scenes do you hope are included? I myself really think the ents should be included, but I heard somewhere that the won't! ARGH

From the cast list it certainly would appear that they are not. Although there is a picture somewhere on the web-site of an Ents eye or eyes, so they do feature somehow.

Personally I'm looking forward to a few things.
1. The battle of Helms Deep should be spectacular.
2. Hopefully the "Oilifant" will be included for Sam's sake.
3. The trip up the stairs and through Shelob's lair will probably be rather a spine tingling affair as well.

In fact to be quite honest I can't wait for it to come out. I'm looking forward to the whole thing.

 

Probably the have added some more romantic moments, including a romance, nude scene included, between Frodo and Arwen. It is also highly likely Frodo's brillinat actor will finally unveil his still classified WETPANTS (tm) look. Perhaps a romance between Gollum and Sam but that's still open to speculation since I heared that the final release is not yet ready. Treebeard will most likely be there as this once secret picture unveils.

Actually i know for a fact the ents WILL be included because it is on the cast list that John Rhys Davis (Gimli) will be doing the voice of Treebeard. How could they leave it out. How else does Isengard get destroyed. i suppose the hobbits storm the place by them selves do they?
If they are left out then they will have a very difficult job to make the rest of the film any good.

 

The greatest mistake Peter jackson did was putting Arwen in the movie. I despise her and deny her existence. Her job was to sit in Rivendell, look pretty and make our Aragorn a flag. Nothing else. That's one of the reasons I became a A/B shipper. Arwen too horrible for our soon-to-be-king ranger person.

 

Bathtub scenes with Merry and Pippin.

Any references with the title "The Two Towers" are coincidential.

 

As long as Arwen doesn't take Eowyn's place battling the Witch King, I will be happy. My understanding was that Arwen's expanded character is really a melding of Arwen/Glorfindel/and other minor character elves and Rangers.

I'm hoping that's all it is...If I see her cutting off Sauron's head at the end of Return of the King, I'll be going after Jackson's noggin!!!

Ents will be included, so will Olifants. I saw both in the trailer
I think it opens the same date all over the world as the Fellowship did. But then it opens here in scandinavia and the whole of Europe before the US due to timedifference.

Unfortunately, I've heard that Shelob isn't making her appearance until the Return of the King, so the Two Towers cannot end the same way as it does in the book.

 

I hope to see what takes place between Gandalf and the Balrog (the whole bit where they are fighting in the very depths of Moria.)
I also heard that the fight with Shelob won't be until the Return of the King, it'll be like the first thing to happen or something like that (I heard this, I'm not claiming it's true.)

 

I think it would suck if you don't see Shelob until the third movie...Mostly because I think that's a perfect cliffhanger ending for the Two Towers...Frodo dead, Sam carrying on the quest, etc...

Although, 2 Towers is going to have a lot of fighting in it, and time may not allow for much of Frodo's part of the tale...There should be at 4-5 battles in this one:

1) Skirmish on the edge of Fangorn
2) Helm's Deep
3) Isengard
4) Osgiliath and the Oliphants
5) Siege of Gondor/Pellenor Fields

There may not be enough time to add Shelb to all that....I hope they don't cut out any of these fights... *** Belisarius prays to the gods of Hollywood! ***

 

I'm getting better vibes about this one than FOTR. The trailers look great.

AUUGH! My....Eyes...Can't...See...Going...Blind...*Groan*

 

I really didn't like the trailer for TTT. It showed too much. The return of Gandalf is a HUGE spoiler. Also, they tried to put too many scenes in the trailer, which caused it to become a fast flash of short shots, instead of a good to follow trailer.

Ents will be included. As will the oliphaunt, they are both in the trailer.

Having a different ending for TTT would be a shame, but I'll see what they make of it before judging it.

I can't wait to see what they've made of Rohan.

 

It would indeed be a shame if Shelob is not included.

Back to the US release v Europe. I thought the release date was Worldwide 18 December? There will no doubt be the premiere with all the stars in London like last time, but the general release I thought was universal so to speak?

Oh well, I can't buy IWD2 yet, so no sympathy whatsoever.

I just saw the trailer and it looks like there's going to be a real classic romance between Arwen and Aragorn. Elrond says something along the lines of: "She's an Elf, her time here is ending. Let her go" Very dramatic

Makes me wanna puke...

By the way, wolf riders are in and they are looking good

 

The first one was great! Lets hope thesecond is better and the third is the best! I can't wait!
