The Town of Ember... Bugged???

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place guys, wasnt sure where to post, first time here an all.

    Hope someone can help me though.

    Im currently in the town of Ember in NWN2 and ive killed all the gith. All the houses are locked and cant be opened (picked). The problem im having is that the game wont let me leave the area. When i go to leave at the otherside of town to world map nothing happens. Ive tried everthing i can think of. Is this a bug of some sort or have i just missed something?

    Check the official forums. They have fixes for this.

    The problem is that they expect you (for some reason) to have your main character selected at the end of the fight, and if you don't, the cutscene doesn't play. I'm assuming you had another character selected.

    There's a little boy there who will have a conversation with you. He is hiding on the edge of town (right near where the area transition appears after you've spoken with him).

    I had this issue as well. One good reason to save often and in multiple slots. I'm not sure how this one got through QA, as it's pretty glaring, and crops up in more places than just Ember.
