Has anyone ever wondered why there are Sirines in the temple (the one east of Beregost)? There's the priest and then four Sirines standing around chanting.

Is there any reason for them being here? Every other Sirine in the game tries to kill you the moment you see them, but these four just chant. Why are they there?

It might be that they follow the god that temple worships. I forget which god that temple is dedicated to, but I suppose it is possible it is one that the Sirines like...

[IMG] My answer is a little more down-to-earth: they're there for the same reason as the flesh golems in the High Hedge: to protect their innocent(but filthy rich)master from some slightly over-zealous adventurers. ;)

Well the temple is called "song of the morning", and the sirines there are singing (the temple is dedicated to Lathander btw) so I suppose they are supposed to attract tourists to give big donations to the church. It's all just a big moneytrap I tell you. ;)

I whacked them in the last game I playe. 2000 XP for each Sirine and another 5000 XP for the priest. Not bad for a few Fireballs and Magic Missiles.

Your a real pinnacle of honour there David. I hope you were playing an evil char to have wiped out a Temple of the Morning Lord.

    @ david

yeah, come on admit it, we've all been there with a good party. Just one more good fight 'til that next level up. Besides those preists are really arrogant sometimes. Chaotic Goods are nice that way, My own personal moral code says this guy should die. ;)
