[IMG] Well, yesterday was an interesting time in the Land of Tax Free Shopping. Almost every secondary road in my home county was washed out. A normal 20 minute commute from work to home took an hour and a half yesterday.

The scary thing is, we are expected to get the remnants of Hurricane Isabelle on Friday. I wonder how much worse it will be? Take a look at the article...and the photo gallery.

I had to walk about 10 blocks just as the 4:30 downpour hit. My briefcase is STILL damp.

I guess Friday wouldn't be a good day for lunch, would it, Sir Bel? ;) Seriously, PM me if you need shelter a little farther inland.

That kind of weather makes me glad that I live pretty far inland. Even when hurricanes slide their way onto the Gulf Coast, all I will ever see is a bit of rain and maybe some thunderstorms.

-To all who will be having to deal with Isabella and her offspring - my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Those pictures bring back memories of the Chicago-area flood in 1996. That was no fun. Good luck to you and yours.
