Well in response to Aikanaro's plea for a non political thread in the AoDA I decided to do a little snooping...what I turned up was not pretty.

As you all know by know, SP now offers merchandise over the internet...what you don't know is where your hard earned money goes once spent. Most of us would think that after taking your credit card info, the website would process it and send our fearless leader known only as "Tal" any profits. Well you couldn't be further from the truth.

It turns out that the section of the website in question is just a mirror (run by underground SP members who have yet to be identified) of the real website. All money sent to the site goes directly to "Tal"…who it turns out enslaves a small race of green munchkins to produce the merchandise for him in dangerous, unhealthy sweatshops located around the world. There is no evidence that any of that money goes to help Sorcerer's Place in any way...but there is hard evidence that a good portion of it goes towards "Tal's" monthly exotic car payments as well as mortgage payments for a mansion in the Miami Beach area. I have sent the accused parties countless emails filled with direct questions, but unfortunately none of them have been returned…save for one which only contained this sentence: "I have no idea of what you’re talking about."
This is all the information I have on this matter and if you have done any snooping of your own, I would appreciate any additional info you have on this massive web based cover up. :rolling:

Ragusa, you're not supposed to post from someone else's nick. Poor Kitrax will be furious when he finds out you flew all the way to Utah just to smear his good name. :nono:

    :p

Er...I mean, oh yeah. They should be stopped.

    That was bloody hilarious!

Naturally, you'll follow up by finding some way to blame the United States for SP now offering merchandise and therefore for enslaving "Little Green Munchkins".

This time, the conspiracy theorists here have gone too far.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

But seriously, I wish that I WAS getting rich with the merch. But as it is, it'll take another 5 years or so just to cover the expenses I've had with creating the store. With profits in the range of $1 to $2 per item on average, you can hardly expect it to be any different.

[IMG] Sp weaponry would rock so much.

Kitrax - they aren't little green munchkins either, they are a mix of Goblins, kobolds and banned members that all look remarkably alike.

No, 8people, the goblins and kobolds are infinitely more comely.

[IMG] Well actually, they are little green 'munchkins' we enslave. We at Tal Corp. found that they were much easier to control than goblins or kobolds simply because of their complete lack of judgement and sensebility (not to mention imagination) when it comes to Fantasy games and goods, seducing them with a nice shiny sword makes them an effecient workfo-..

    .. say what? Munchkins? Where?
    ;)
