The golem's in D'Arnise keep....

    How do you kill the iron golem so I can get the long bow. I didn't have any trouble with the other, but the iron one keeps pansing me.

    That early in the game...
    I just ran away - bravely ran away that is.

    You could arm a character with the +1/+4 hammer that is in that room and that would lay the smack down pretty nice.
    He is a giant in case you didn't notice)

    Have you other characters back him up with healing ect...

    as mentioned in an earlier post, you can attack the golems one at a time before attempting to take the items. Speed up a fighter equipped with the Flail of the Ages and attack the golem. Use your cleric(s) to keep heal spells going. Also have a neutralize poison ready for when the golem breathes poison gas (keep the other chars outta the way). Took a couple tries, but Minsc pounded the nasty golem into submission. The other option is to run, but what fun is that ;) ?

    I did it. But the Flail of Ages didn't work on the Iron git, the only to hurt him was the Hammer+4 vs. Giants and the mountain bears.
