The goblin Warrens without being seen

    I finally completed the first level of the goblin warrens without being detected by any of the clans. You have to turn one character invisible, make it to Pondmuk, make a deal with him, open the door to the spiders, quickly turn invisible before they see you, then after the goblins have killed the spiders you have to run over the top of a spider corpse so that you can pause the game, go into the inventory screen and drag it into your pack (so you don't become visible), then give Pondmuk the spider, get the password, make it back to your party without being seen. Then use the password to open the door. Kill the guard and the troll. Then kill the Orogs in the last room, and disarm the traps. When you proceed to level 2 you should get maximum exp for remaining undetected. Then go back up and kill everything for more (if you want).

    Doesn't state how much, but it did level up all my characters, but I don't know how close they alreadt were and as they are all human, they all level up at the roughly same time.

    I think you get aroun 2000xp for that. I usually have both my decoy and an arcane spellcaster (usually a wiz since they tend to get more dex) go invisible and kill the spiders in the spiders room where the goblins can't see me. From there you can collect the spider corpses (usually takes some time since my decoys and arcane spellcasters have low strength and have to go back to get the rest of the corpses.)

    Actually, you don't have to skip past the last group beyond the door.

    Hide/Invisible a couple of guys and talk to Podmuk. Hide them again and go towards the spiders' lair. Make sure to be visible again before opening the door so you can kill the spiders yourself.
    Take the bodies back, get the password, open the door and get rid of everyone beyond it. When you get to the second level you will still get the maximum XP.

    By the way, you can get a few hidden buddies through the spider lair to flank the idiots by the door. This way you get XP for opening the door and can also kill the drum beforehand.

    To get more XP, you want to give Pondmuk 3
    spiders. Then talk to him again and give him the Spider Queen. Finally give him any remaining spiders.

    This requires dropping 1 spider (if you are carrying all of them).
