the girdle of frost giant strength

    [​IMG] How do I get the girdle soloing a monk? I actually have Imoen with me right now but she died quite a while ago.

    I'm guessing I'm out of luck. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    You could use the horn of valhalla, the spider figurine or any of the other equipment that allows you to summon a creature to be sacrificed to the demigorgon. If you can't summon, I think you are out of luck. I think you will have a tough time defeating 5 demon knights with a solo monk, but it sure would be fun to try.

    IIRC one of the monk/cleric stronghold quests gives Lion head or some other lion summoning item.

    [​IMG] Vhailor's Helm - cast Simulacrum 1/day - is great. :)

    The real problem is that you can't go back and buy/get these items if you're in the Underdark.

    If you don't have any of those items you can still get it by using one of the Mind Control Collars (IIRC even a Wizard Slayer can use those) from the Illithid Lair to take control of a Kuo-Toa (or any other monster).

    Btw, a soloing monk will probably wipe the floor with those Demon Knights. :D

    [​IMG] OK I had the moondog figurine in my bag of holding and it worked. I had to fight the knights one at a time but I got them all with no problem. the girdle of frost giant strength gives you a 21 and you get it in the kua to(forgive my spelling on that) area of the underdark. You will find a statue of a demigorgon asking for an animal sacrifice. When you make the sacrifice 5 demon knights appear, one of them is wearing it. Good luck.
