    Ladies & gentlemen its available to download the 1º beta of THE ELIXIR.
    The Elixir is a new game developed by artists and programmers from Argetina that combines FPS, RTS and some ROLL elements. The adventure reunites two teams in a medieval atmosphere, that fight for the elixir of the eternal life. The players, in first or third person, can use crossbows or fight hand-to-hand with swords, and other weapons.

    There seems to be A LOT of spelling errors on the site, I hope there aren't that many in the game, nothing turns you off from a game more than bugs and spelling errors.

    I can live with those; have been without a good multiplayer game for a while and if this game can offer 1) good team-play by necessity, 2) FPS and RTS with a possibility to command, and 3) interesting game-mechanics, then absolutely yes. ;)

    Just compare to Natural-Selection.org -a game that has become rather bland due of several compromises in mechanics, but before that was a real hit. Anyway, looking at those screenshots, doesn't the terrain look a bit flat...?

    Downloading it now, but both the download and the main site is really slow, 20 kb/s, 25 at most.

    I just hope it's worth it, as I have been looking for a good teamplay FPS to actually BE teamplay, something AvP2, CS, C&C: Renegade, and CS:S all have failed with.
