[IMG] The game help says that druids at level 15 get so powerful abilities that they must have a very slow levelling up process after level 12. compared to the priest's max level 21, druids can level up to level 14 only.
Could anyone tell me why is this restriction! What are those superb abilities that would unbalance the game when applied? Please refer, I'm more than curious!

In ToB I think they're giving the Druid class a whole revamping, the exp cap and all. This should be something to look forward to,

I know at level 14 you can become great druid but what are the advatages af a Grand druid (lvl 15) instead of a lvl 14 druid?

Druids leveling up slow? When my druid hit level 13 my rangers were hanging back at level 10 and they all had the same amount of experience. As for druids maxing out so low I can't wait to see how ToB adresses that.

The thing is that Druids can actually become very powerful even at level 14. I personally have just completed BG2 with my solo shapeshifter.
What i think it is refering to is the fact that at level 15 druids will get abilities which make them suddenly immensly powerful.
This could be grand shapeshifting abilities or even 8th level spells.
There is one key note however. The saving throws and thaco of the druid is so appalling at level 14 that it is going to be hard for tob abilities to make a decent impression. It is going to have to be something very spectacular if they want to imress us. Maybe shapechange into a golem! :D :D :D

If you want to get a few hints of what Druids can do after level 15, go here: http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/tob_features.php

In short: - At 15th level the druid becomes immune to poison.
    - At 18th level the druid gains 10% resistance to all environmental damage (cold, fire, electricity and acid).
    - At 21st and 24th level this resistance is increased by an additional 10%.

This as well as new and much better spells ec make druids much better.
