I have recently been spending a little too much time on a MMORPG called the Dark Grimoire. It is a text based game, so no high speed or graphics intensive requirements like Everquest...but most of all its fun and free.

The developers throw new puzzles and quests at you almost every day...and there are things to do for newbies and veterans. They don't use a strict D and D formula, but they have have a pretty neat and well thought out system. The world isn't PVP, it's entirely designed to force the adventurers to work together and cooperate or you are toast.

You can find it here. Check it out and let me know what you think...oh and by the way...if you run into a guy named Hacken...that's me (big surprise).

[edit] But I would NEVER stay away from SP for long :D

www.alleria.com is another great MMORPG. Its PvP, or PvNPC. HGeck, you can be anything thing you want: a cook, a Garbage collector, anything! An Archmage, a master Swordsman, a jack of all trades. No limits, what so ever, but for races. Some races are hated, and as such would have troble being a, oh, a Pallidin. But you still can be one.

Its... Awesome. Try it out, I truly recommend, and not just because I am a Moderater there.

Speaking of which, I should mod tonight....
