[IMG] As a few of you already know, I'm playing IWD2 on a LAN with a friend of mine. We simply got addicted playing the first IWD, and now we're already looking for RPG-games to play after we've finished IWD2...

Which rpg-games are the best, in your opinion, to play on a LAN...? (no need to mention NWN, we've tried it but one of us always gets kicked out when playing... ) (and ofcourse, no need to mention BG1, it's a legend... But I like to hear your comments on BG2 for instance...)
And most of all, I'd like your comments on the lesser known RPG-games that rock as well...!!!

Ok gentlemen, show me your expertise...

Well ... I've played all the BG and IWD series over LAN and they all play very well, although for multi-player I think the IWD series is much better than the BG series as they are more hack-n-slash which is usually what multi-player is more about

My favourite RPG game over a LAN is DiabloII, it has a much faster pace than BG and is just great fun multi-player and very reliable ... it is still very difficult to beat even considering how old it is, it does lack that certain ambience of the Bg series though

I'd go with NWN, but then I'm biased.

I found that NWN gets both pretty boring fairly quickly and goes really slow when playing Lan. D2 is fairly good, but until you both reach Nightmare difficulty or up there is a lack of enemies for 2 to kill without a lot of running around. Dungeon Siege may be fun if you like the *click and watch enemies die* approach. If you find a good module-like thing, i found Vampire: The Masquarade Redemtion to be a lot of fun. Hmm... im afraid that some of the best RPGs i can think of tend to be single player only... The only truely modern RPGish game i can think of that would kill via Lan hasnt come out yet... its called Hellgate: London.
