[IMG] I've just started playing the game a few weeks ago, and it took me about 6 tries to defeat Yxunomei. I think my Bard did most of the damage with the fire arrows I found. I managed to use up all the fire arrows, and hit the group once with a fireball and twice with that fire potion(works like fireball does). I do like the throwing axe I found, which should work fine with my Paladin(he'll specialize in axes and possibly crossbows).

There definitely are weapons with nasty effects, with stun and poison being very dangerous. Stunned monsters can't retaliate, and poisoned monsters take damage per round.

My overall thoughts on character creation:
I decided to use a Paladin, Fighter/Druid, Cleric/Ranger, Bard, Thief/Mage, and Conjurer for my group. It seems the pure classes(Cleric and Druid especially) aren't too effective in combat, though I do realize that with multiclassing I won't achieve the higher spell levels for the Cleric and Druid. I've found the Bard's lore skill is very good for a party if you don't want to memorize a lot of identify spells or pay vendors(call me a cheapskate if you must  ). I do have other parties created, so I'll have to see how well they do(including a 4 member "minimal" party).

Overall, I've really enjoyed the game so far and I certainly think there's quite a bit of replayability. Sorry for the long post, but I was wanting to express my thanks as well as personal opinions. :D
