I've been having a small problem with TDD + Ease of Use + Unfinished Business + Tactics mods.

I install TDD /w Baldurdash to begin with, because it overrides a lot of theother files, then I install ease of use, (which was causing the trouble before, but not when I install it first), then Tactics and everything is still fine. But when I install UB, for some reason after I finish telling it to install the last thing, it goes through a bunch of files automatically and changes a ton of stuff, ease of use did this when I installed it after UB too. Now everything still works, it's just when I start up BG2, and I'm looking at the kits... for example the fighters will be:
    Fighter
    Berserker
    Wizard Slayer
    Kensai(actual kit description)
Kensai(random kensai quote intead of description)
Kensai(random kensai quote intead of description)
Kensai(random kensai quote intead of description)
Kensai(random kensai quote intead of description)
Kensai(random kensai quote intead of description)

The funny thing is those other kensai's, still act as the kits that were installed by TDD, there's just no description for them, or even the actual name.

For the most part, it's not a big deal except for it really bugs me when I'm making a character and I see all those Kensai, or all those Undead Hunter, or all those Skald, and I can't start playing the game !!

That and the tactics mod doesn't seem to go off, 'cause when I rush off into the dungeon, I'm still fighting goblins instead of hobgoblins or Duergar.

I just wanted to add on... leave it to me to find a way to mess up the simplest of things, *whistles* la la la

You cannot install any additional (PC-available) kits if you install TDD, and both Tactics and UB include additional kits. You'll want to go back and figure out which mod you installed kits from and re-run Setup-Tactics and/or Setup-UB.exe and remove those components.

(or stop using TDD, which is generally recommended by 4 out of 5 dentists.)

This is going to be my first time going through TDD which is a pretty popular mod I believe, and I'm just out to try this new stuff. I actually installed the Justifier and Feralan from UB I believe, and it's working now that I god rid of Tactics. I just suck too much to handle a bunch of level 20 mages/fighters at level 7 with no magic items :(

I wouldn't go so far to say that TDD is a popular mod. Well-known, yes. Popular, no. :)

I think UB's fairly popular though.
