[IMG] I have a digital camera which works fine as a webcam. I also have a (USB) webcam which I can plug into the computer preview and record video no problems. I'm wondering if there's a way to take a photo using the webcame (while plugged into the computer) since of the two cameras it has superior picture quality. Anyone know how to do this?

I don't know how exactly to do that, but there must be some way with one program or another. Whatever can take movies, can take still pictures. For now, you can stick with the good old PrtScrn key - after all, it's going to be the exact same thing you see on the screen. ;)

Aha solution found! Found that one of the programs on the digital camera's driver and software cd could do this.

Wait...you're saying that your webcam (which probably has a 640 x 480 resolution (which is also the resolution the camera in my cell phone takes)) is better than your digital camera?

I'm hoping that you have your webcam and digital camera mixed up.... :rolling:

My digital camera is a minature, it's smaller than a matchbox, about 5cm by 3cm by 1cm. So the picture quality is a little sacrificed as a reult (maxing out at around 320 x 400 i think).
