    I decided to delete my Cleric/Wild Mage in favor of a pure Wild Mage. So I reinstalled Tutu to begin again. I followed Cmorgan's little bible of how to do the installs properly (again, lol)

    The issue is that I forgot I wanted to try JOG's fairy dragon mod. Would I have to do a full reinstall to add that mod or can I append it to the end of my BG2Tweaks, SCS, and Widescreen mods. I know those mods are supposed to go last but I'm hoping the fairy dragon mod is minute enough that I can tack it to the end without ruining anything. Does anybody know if this is doable? I have the Weidu version of JOG's mod from SHS but the forum link on its download page is broken.

    Just append it, nothing will happen with that last. It's only to avoid most troubles installing after the instructions found at G3.

    That's what I thought would be the case. I didn't want to risk 2 hours of installs and end up messing up the game. Thanks for verfying what I thought. I appreciate it.

    If you want to be certain, clone a copy of your EasyTutu install under a new name via copy/paste. Set it aside, and if something goes wrong, just delete the modded one and rename the backup.

    I often have two to three separate copies along side eachother for testing changes/cross comparisons. I don't play the test installs, but you could use the same concept for backing up your complete install.

    BaltdursGateTutu // clean, unmodded
    TutuTest1 // copy 1
    TutuTest2 // copy 2

    The only thing you have to do if you want to actually use these clones is change their baldur.ini file with Notepad.

    The lines

    Code:
    [Alias]
    HD0:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BaldursGateTutu\
    CD1:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD1\
    CD2:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2\;C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2\;C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BaldursGateTutu\CD2\
    CD3:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3\
    CD4:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD4\
    CD5:=C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD5\

    need to be changed to

    Code:
    [Alias]
    HD0:=D:\TutuTest1\
    CD1:=D:\TutuTest1\CD1\
    CD2:=D:\TutuTest1\CD2\
    CD3:=D:\TutuTest1\CD3\
    CD4:=D:\TutuTest1\CD4\
    CD5:=D:\TutuTest1\CD5\

    and then you have a working secondary copy.

    The uninstall in windows will only remove the one that is baldursgatetutu (and the last one installed by Macready's installer). The other copies you have to manually delete. Side note: these are huge files by old standards, running several gigs. But by modern standards, my machine takes less than three minutes to create a complete clone of a fully loaded install, *including* manually changing the baldur.ini file. (It was 12 minutes on my old Pentium 1.7 gHz.)

    That is good to know. I'm already to Cloakwood with my current game so it is a little late for my Tutu run. I will keep it in mind, though, for when I start my BG2 game in a couple days.
