Switching kits for NPCs

    I like the dialogue of the NPCs. At the same time, I like to try different classes and kits. Using Shadow Keeper to switch the class and/or race of the NPCs sometimes make the game unstable. I know that switching Aerie to a sorcerer works just fine. What class switches have you found to be successful?

    NO ONE has the right to tell another how to play his game! :grr:

    This thread is a simple query to find what changes are possible. I hope there will be more helpful responses (that actually answer the question) in the future.

    The only other conversion I am familier with that works is the one that turns Imoen into a single class thief rather than her current dual class.
    I was not aware that changing Aerie's class was possible. I do know that you run the risk of crashing the game, so be prepared for that possibility.

    How is it that you changes Aerie to a sorcerer and that doesnt crash your game... She is a Mage/Cleric, changing her to sorcerer shouldnt work...

    Using Shadow Keeper you can change the kits of NPCs (and races and anything else). I changed Aerie to a sorcerer with the appropriate spells (deleting priest spells), rearranged her attribute scores, and had a blast with her through TOB. It can absolutely be done.

    I was aware that others had made Imoen a thief. I take it a pure thief (not a kit).

    Changing the kits of NPCs often makes the game unstable (prone to crashing). So, the purpose of this thread is to find out what changes are possible without crashing the game.

    [​IMG] Look, i didn't mean to tell you not to have fun with your game, but Editing Kit's is NOT the way to do it. If you are however, try to stick with one of their classes. Imoen to a Thief or a Mage etc. Changing Minsc to a Fighter won't do your game any favours.
    So just be careful, SK is riddled with errors
